I never liked editors like HTMLarea or FCKeditor. The concept is nice, but they often generate pretty ugly HTML code. I could just as well use Word to create web pages. So I tend to use bbcode or markdown syntax, but that isn't exactly easy either.
I just found WYMeditor, it seems to do exactly what I want. It offers an easier way to enter HTML code but still encourages you to use proper paragraph tags and so on.
I need to take a closer look at this, I wonder if there is a Drupal module yet.

I just installed Drupal 5 (currently still in beta) on this site. The previous site was running drupal 4.7 with a whole lot of contrib modules that I wanted to test. I decided that it all was to complex for a simple personal website so I started from scratch.
I don't think there was any important content on the previous site anyway. I had a blog post about getting Network Connect (from Juniper SA) working on Ubuntu but I plan on rewriting that page as a proper HOWTO anyway.
